As per the efforts aimed at supporting the business environment and developing the capital markets in Qatar and as a contribution to apply the preventive and precautionary measures to limit the spread Coronavirus (Covid-19) and after coordination with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Qatar Financial Markets Authority , Qatar Central Securities Depository(QCSD) signed an agreement with Blockchain Solutions and Services Company (e-solutions provider based in Oman) in cooperation with the Muscat Clearing and Depository Company, with the aim of establishing an electronic platform for holding general assembly meetings of the listed companies remotely.
