Qatar Central Securities Depository, which specializes in depository, safekeeping and registration of securities in the State of Qatar, and related services for Investors, Shareholders, Customers and members, has received International Standards Organization (ISO) Certificate for the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2008) from the British Standards Institution (BSI) in Qatar. 

The certificate is based on a numbers of principles, of which the most important are: customer service, systematic operations and continuous improvement in services and the involvement of employees.

The most important benefit to Qatar Central Securities Depository is documentation of all the procedures, the systems and recording the events of the operation in order to serve its objectives and strategies. QCSD, has been able to receive this certificate within one and half years from the commencement date of its operations which represents its commitment to provide services of better standards.

His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Bin Soud Al-Thani, Governor - Qatar Central Bank Governor,  His Excellency Mr. Nicholas Hopton-The British ambassador to State of Qatar, Mr. Misnad Bin Abdullatif Al Misnad – Chief Executive Officer – Qatar Central Securities Depository and Mr. Omar Rashid - General Manager BSI in Qatar were present during the handover of the certificate.

It is worth mentioning that Qatar Central Securities Depository is the only company licensed by the Qatar Financial Markets Authority to provide such services in the state of Qatar.
