QFMA announces the beginning of stock split implementation from the 9th of June 2019
QFMA has decided to proceed with the stock split for the listed companies in Qatar Exchange starting from the 9th of June 2019 until the 7th of July 2019, as per the following schedule :
- The stock split will be performed after the trading session in the mentioned dates above, from (10) Riyals to (1) Riyal, the updated face value and market value for each stock will be reflected the next working day. The new market value will be the result of dividing the last market value for the stock ( the closing price of the day before the split) by 10, and the volume (number of shares) in the client’s portfolio will be the result of multiplying the holdings in the day before the split by 10.
- Please note that the current face value of Vodafone Qatar Company is (5) Qatari Riyals and will be split to (1) Qatari Riyal
